Packaging & Shipping
We are deeply mindful of our packaging footprint and champion a minimalist approach. It starts with our crown caps: made from infinitely recyclable steel and using minimal material. Our glass bottles are among the lightest available, and we keep decoration to a absolute minimum with just a single, wet-glued paper label.
This efficiency extends to our shipping: six bottles fit perfectly into the smallest possible cardboard box, sealed with paper tape. These boxes are tailored to fit pallets flawlessly, ensuring every shipment is fully optimised with zero wasted space.
Viticulture & Terroir
Soil: Our 5-hectare estate is spread across 3 ha of sandy loam and 2 ha of clay and limestone. Each plot is planted with 4 to 8 different grape varieties and harvested as a single field blend, expressing the character of its site.
Climate: cool temperate with a maritime North Sea influence, allowing for a long ripening period and fresh, refined wines.
Sustainable viticulture: leaf removal and green harvesting when needed, biodiversity through native hedgerows and wildflower mixes, grass cover to prevent erosion, and the use of compost to support a living, healthy soil.
