The vineyard reaches 5 ha over 3 different locations. 3 ha on sandy loam and 2 on clay and limestone. Every plot produces one field blend and is planted with between 4 and 8 different grape varieties. All varieties are more or less resistant to fungal diseases. At Lijsternest, the ecological aspect always comes prior to the perception of quality.
We planted every vineyard by hand, from zero, starting in 2013 and finished plantation in 2018, with an extra ha in 2025. The first production was in 2015, and are actually producing 15.000 bottles.
